Plastic Tanks
For years we’ve stored highly corrosive liquids in thermoplastic storage plastic tanks yet there has been no British or European standard that engineers can specify.
January 2001 saw the introduction of BS EN 12573 for ‘Welded Static Non-Pressurized Thermostatic Tanks’. This standard covers the design of vessels and general principles of transport, handling and installation.
